❄️ Major Winter Storm Possible Across Oklahoma

Significant Snowfall & Dangerous Cold Expected

A major winter storm is becoming increasingly likely across Oklahoma, with confidence growing that many parts of the state will see moderate to heavy snowfall along with brutal cold air.

Based on current forecast reasoning, most areas are expected to see between 6 and 10 inches of snow, with several locations potentially exceeding that amount. Locally higher snowfall totals are still possible if persistent snow bands set up and remain over the same areas for an extended period of time.

While exact totals may still fluctuate as the system shifts slightly north or south, confidence is high that this will be a high-impact winter weather event for much of the state.

📍 Preliminary Snowfall Forecast

  • Altus: 4–6 inches

  • Ardmore: 3–6 inches

  • Bartlesville: 6–10 inches

  • Durant: 3–6 inches

  • Enid: 5–7 inches

  • Guymon: 3–6 inches

  • McAlester: 6–10 inches

  • Miami: 6–10 inches

  • Muskogee: 8–12 inches

  • Oklahoma City: 8–12 inches

  • Sallisaw: 8–12 inches

  • Tulsa: 8–12 inches

⚠️ High-End Snowfall Potential Still on the Table

Although these numbers represent the most likely outcome, there is still a real possibility of locally higher snowfall totals, especially where heavier snow bands persist.

In isolated locations, snowfall could exceed 12 inches, with localized totals potentially reaching 15 to 18 inches if banding becomes established.
