Adventure Racing Coming to Tulsa!

Tulsa is set to host a one-of-a-kind outdoor competition this spring with the Extreme Break Up Adventure Race, Oklahoma’s only adventure race, scheduled for March 7, 2026.

Organizers say the race is designed for all skill levels, welcoming both first-time participants and experienced racers. Adventure racing typically combines multiple outdoor disciplines such as running, biking, and navigation, and is known for its strong emphasis on teamwork and inclusivity. Race officials highlight that the adventure racing community is among the most supportive and welcoming athletic groups, making the event accessible to a wide range of competitors.

The event will take place in Tulsa, with support and affiliation from organizations including the Adventure Racing World Series (ARWS), USA Adventure Racing Association (USARA), and the River Parks Authority.
