Clouds and a few showers today, then a big warm-up Tuesday with increasing late-day storm chances.

Oklahoma will see a mainly quiet weather pattern today (Monday), though a few showers are possible across parts of eastern Oklahoma and an isolated early shower or storm can’t be ruled out in the south. Conditions trend warmer tonight.

By Tuesday, a strong warm-up arrives statewide with breezy south winds and highs climbing into the upper 70s to near 80 degrees for many communities. Fire weather concerns may increase across northwestern Oklahoma Tuesday afternoon where gusty winds and lower humidity overlap.

Thunderstorm chances return late Tuesday into Tuesday night. Some storms may become strong to severe with hail and damaging wind as the primary hazards. ONWN will continue refining timing and impacts as updated guidance arrives.
